With the Walnut Street Bridge under renovation, this year’s event will transform nearby Renaissance Park into a magical wonderland with enchanting lighting, new wine experiences, a “garden-party” style gathering space, and entertainment featuring Ben van Winkle and the Figments as well as the Chattanooga Fire Cabaret. Honorary event chairs Jennifer and Maury Nicely along with a committee of community leaders has developed a true Wine Over Water renaissance for its 30th anniversary.

Wine Over Water works with wine industry professionals to bring you a carefully selected wines for your tasting adventure. Grab your commemorative wine glass and discover new favorites during your wine journey.
FOOD
The food is a big part of the Wine Over Water experience. Chef Amanda Clayton of Whitebird, one of Chattanooga’s premier restaurants, has designed two menus that pair with red or white wines. See the full Whitebird menu HERE. In addition to this menu, there will charcuterie, pulled-pork, and other surprises at the event.
ENTERTAINMENT
Live music is always part of the fun. This year, Wine Over Water is featuring Ben van Winkle and The Figment as our featured artist. Join us at the park “entertainment circle” at 7:30 pm for their 90-minute performance. The Chattanooga Circus Collective will provide roaming entertainment and special performances in the circle as well.

No, the Walnut Street Bridge is under renovation by the City of Chattanooga. Wine Over Water will be held at Renaissance Park, located between the Walnut Street and Market Street Bridges along the Tennessee River. The beautiful park includes a riverside promenade and outdoor sculptures.

Renaissance Park allows us to create a magical environment along the river and amongst the trees. This year’s event will transform nearby Renaissance Park into a magical wonderland with enchanting lighting, new wine experiences, a “garden-party” style gathering space, and entertainment featuring Ben van Winkle and the Figment as well as the Chattanooga Circus Collective.

At this time we do not offer discounts for seniors and veterans. Wine Over Water is a nonprofit fundraiser benefitting Preserve Chattanooga. Covering the expenses of the event and generating program funding is essential to our mission.

Tickets are nonrefundable but transferable. If you can't attend, you can gift or resell your tickets without changing registration. Preserve Chattanooga cannot assist with ticket resales. If weather impacts the event, an alternate date will be established and more information regarding tickets will be provided.

There are several parking options in close proximity to the event. Renaissance Park has its own parking lot located off Manufacturers Road. There is also parking at Coolidge Park. Learn more about downtown parking options HERE. CARTA Shuttle Park North Shore is located at Frazier and Tremont, behind the Mr. Zip, and has 207 parking spaces. We recommend downloading the ParkMobile app to pay by phone (accepted at all meters).

We strongly recommend taxis or Uber/Lift transportation, especially if you are consuming alcohol. The primary drop-off point is under the Market Street Bridge on River Street (the park’s main entrance).

No. Guests have the option to stay at nearby hotels or use services such as Uber, Lyft, or other transportation methods to attend the event. Nonalcoholic wines are available for attendees who prefer not to consume alcohol. You must 21 years old or older to purchase a ticket to this event.
